Stay Local ("we", "us", "our") provides one-page websites for UK holiday home owners, accessible at sites.staylocal.uk. Stay Local is a trading name of Furnitureco Ltd, registered office at Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset BH16 6FA, company number 13085806.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you request a free mock-up or otherwise enquire about our service. This currently includes:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your property type (e.g. cottage, barn, coastal home)
• Your property's general location
• Approximate number of bookings per year

We do not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising tracking technology on this site. If this changes (for example, if we add visitor analytics or advertising pixels in future), we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first via a cookie banner.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Respond to your mock-up request and prepare a sample website for your property
• Communicate with you about our service, pricing, and onboarding
• Understand general demand and improve what we offer

We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to providing and improving our service.

4. Our legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent — when you voluntarily submit the mock-up request form
• Legitimate interests — to follow up on your enquiry and provide the service you've asked about
• Contract — once you become a paying customer, to provide the website service you've signed up for

5. Who we share information with

We use the following third-party services to operate our business:

• Formspree — processes our mock-up request form submissions. Formspree is based in the United States; your information is transferred there to enable form delivery. See Formspree's privacy policy for details on their safeguards.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and may log basic technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type) as part of normal server operation. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
• Stripe and Monzo — if you become a paying customer, your payment details are handled directly by these providers; we do not store your card or bank details ourselves.

We do not share your information with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

6. How long we keep your information

If you enquire but don't become a customer, we keep your details for up to 12 months in case you'd like to follow up, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep your information for the duration of our service relationship and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal and accounting obligations (typically up to 6 years, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements).

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to or restrict how we use your information
• Request a copy of your information in a portable format

8. Children's privacy

Our service is intended for adult property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Significant changes will be communicated by email to existing customers where appropriate.
