Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 19 June 2026 · Effective for sites.staylocal.uk

1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of the Stay Local website-building service. Stay Local is a trading name of Furnitureco Ltd, registered office at Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset BH16 6FA, company number 13085806 ("we", "us", "our"). By signing up for our service, you ("you", "the customer") agree to these terms.

2. What we provide

We design, build, and host a one-page website for your holiday let property, intended to help you take direct bookings without paying commission to third-party platforms. This includes:

  • A custom one-page website built from the photos and information you provide
  • Hosting of that website for as long as your subscription is active
  • Reasonable updates and minor edits as agreed between us from time to time

3. Pricing & payment

Our current pricing is £10/month + VAT, or £100/year + VAT if paid annually, as shown on our pricing page at the time you sign up. Payments are processed via Stripe or Monzo. There is no fixed-term contract — you may cancel at any time, and we will stop billing you from your next billing date. We do not charge commission on any bookings you receive through your website.

We may change our pricing from time to time. If we do, we'll give existing customers at least 30 days' notice before any change takes effect.

4. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing hello@staylocal.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we don't provide partial refunds for time already paid for within that period. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the year if cancelled partway through, unless otherwise agreed at our discretion.

5. Your content & responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information and the rights to any photos or content you provide us for your website. By submitting content to us, you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to any photos or text you provide, or have permission to use them
  • The information about your property is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You are the legal owner or authorised manager of the property being listed

You retain ownership of your own content (photos, property descriptions, branding). We will remove your content from our systems within a reasonable time after cancellation, on request.

6. Our intellectual property

The design templates, code, and systems we use to build your website remain our intellectual property. You're licensed to use your specific website for as long as your subscription is active; this licence ends if your subscription ends.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep your website online and accessible at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We're not liable for downtime caused by our hosting provider, internet outages, or other circumstances reasonably outside our control. We'll do our best to fix any issues promptly when we're made aware of them.

8. Acceptable use

Your website must not be used to list anything illegal, fraudulent, or misleading, and must comply with all relevant UK laws covering short-term and holiday letting (including, where applicable, local licensing or registration requirements). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service if we reasonably believe it's being used to breach this.

9. Limitation of liability

We provide a website-building and hosting service; we are not a booking platform, payment processor, or party to any booking arrangement between you and your guests. We're not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from bookings made through your website, or for any indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law (such as liability for death, personal injury, or fraud).

10. Termination

Either party may end this agreement at any time, as described in Section 4. We may also suspend or terminate your service immediately if you breach Section 8 (Acceptable use) or fail to pay any amount due.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and notify existing customers by email of any significant change.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
